Yanat Chhith is the Vice-President of the Watt Munisotaram. He has been affiliated with the Watt ever since its inception in 1982. Yanat describes what makes the Watt Munisotaram unique.
"We are fortunate to be a place that has the relic of the Buddha because that's from Sri Lanka. That's one of the reasons we are building the Stupa, to have a place appropriate for the holy relic of the Buddha."
Yanat reveals that the cohesion of the community, progress, and transparency is what makes him most proud of the Watt.
"You look at the progress that we have, that reflects the cohesion we have as a community, the cohesion that we have on the Board. When people cannot work as a team, there is no progress."
Yanat explains how technology and science today is the application of Buddha's teachings.
