Hopefully we will come back in a few years to further reflect on our experiences with the help of the new reflection pond.

The floor of theupper sancturary is a great place for reflection.

During the span of our time visiting and learning about the Watt Munisotaram, we have experienced many different things and have processed them differently. This reflection section is a space where we will look back on our learning experience and give a more subjective interpretation of our fieldwork at the Watt Munisotaram.

One thing that we all agree on is that the more research we do, the more times we visit, the more we talk to people, the more questions we have and the more we want to know. With greater understanding of a community or religion comes greater understanding that you don’t know everything there is to know about that community or religion. In the end, our relatively brief study of the Watt Munisotaram left us with more questions than answers. That being said, we don't think the work we have done is meaningless. It is not an end but rather a beginning to hopefully a lot more research about the fascinating and vibrant Watt Munisotaram community we are lucky to have here in Minnesota.
