Shir Tikvah, a progressive Reform synagogue located in Minneapolis, is a place where wonderful things are happening. Energetic prayer services, educational classes, and strong commitments to social justice make Shir Tikvah a recognized leader within the Twin Cities and statewide. Shir Tikvah is an innovative congregation engaged in important social justice work as a result of their shared religion and values. Much of what Shir Tikvah does and many of the ideas that it holds result from taking a step forward. This step is one that many view as one in the right direction, but still one that sets them apart from many other synagogues and religious organizations in general. That being said, the direction in which Shir Tikvah moves is becoming more and more common. What makes Shir Tikvah different and special, however, is that it has been operating in this manner since it was first founded twenty-five years ago.

Energetic prayer services, educational classes, and strong commitments to social justice make Shir Tikvah a recognized leader within the Twin Cities and statewide.
