The Muslim Community Center of Minnesota strives to cultivate a more genuine understanding of Islam in the community, especially among the next generation, and focuses on being open to all those seeking the comforts of Allah, catering to a large range of Muslims. The MCC offers various educational programs to meet the needs of Muslims, children learning about their faith as well as adults learning about their faith in America, converts, and anyone interested in learning.

In addition to these classes, individual and group tutoring sessions are available for New Muslims, or those wishing to gain a better understand of the Islamic tradition, teaching Islamic rituals and customs through recitation and translation, and consequently, explanations, of important passages of the Quran. Volunteer teachers are needed to assist New Muslims as well as for teaching rites, rituals, customs and etiquettes.
