Pictured is the main entrance to Mount Zion Temple’s on Summit Ave, designed in 1953 by famous Bauhaus architect Eric Mendelsohn.

Mount Zion’s second synagogue, built on the same site as their first structure on 10th and Minnesota, was a larger three-story building constructed in 1881. The second structure pictured here cost $11,000 to build and was in use for 22 years.
