Description
Widely famous and influential evangelical preacher Rev. Billy Graham had a significant impact on evangelicalism in Minnesota. He was president of the University of Northwestern from 1948-52, founded the Christian radio station KTIS in 1949, and established the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Minneapolis in 1950 to be the headquarters for organizing his crusades and for publishing evangelical literature, before relocating it to North Carolina in 2003.
