Good Shepherd ELCA Lutheran Church, Henning, MN illustrates the complexities of the term evangelical. The largest Lutheran denomination, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, retains this naming convention even though it leans liberal in contrast to other Lutheran denominations.
