The Speedway gas station on the corner of 38th and Chicago has become an important meeting place for the surrounding community. Now dubbed the People’s Way, this gas station is a holding space for vigils, food donation, events, and daily meetings for activists and leaders at the square. As seen in the photo, this Speedway is a place to “board the revolution.”
