There is a colorful mural on the wall of Cup Foods, just a few yards from where George Floyd was murdered. This mural was painted by local artists Xena Goldman and Cadex Herrera just a few days after his death, and is slightly contentious in the Minneapolis community. It was painted without input from any Black artists, and sparked conversations about who should tell the story of George Floyd.
