Jum'aa Khutba Lectures

Further serving the community and following theme of education and Islam in America, the MCC provides weekly lectures, Khutba Lectures, following the Friday prayer (Jum’aa) and sermon to help guide Muslims in their faith especially concerning their changed environments. These lectures are offered two times every Friday, both in English, and are lead by one of the many imams at the MCC, rotating each week. These lectures are aimed to help Muslims understand Islam both in modern times and in the West. Some of the topics that have been covered in multiple sessions include, “preservation of the Quran”, “raising our children”,  “rights and responsibilities of husband and wife”, “life of a Muslim in western lands” and “the amazing biographies of the Prophet and companions.”1
